I’m Joe, a professional gymnast turned business owner, and the face behind Joey’s Detailing.

For as long as I can remember, gymnastics has been a part of who I am. I’ve dedicated my life to the sport, competing at a professional level and proudly representing my country with my nations flag on my chest. But in December 2021, everything changed. I was unexpectedly removed from the national team, and to this day, no real explanation was ever given. It felt like they just didn’t believe in me — and that was a tough pill to swallow.

But giving up was never an option.

Without the support of the national program, I knew continuing my gymnastics journey would come with a price — literally. I’d have to fund everything myself if I wanted to keep chasing my dream. That’s when the idea for Joey’s Detailing was born.

What started as a way to support my gymnastics career has now grown into a passion of its own. I take the same discipline, precision, and high standards from the gym and apply them to every vehicle I clean. Joey’s Detailing isn’t just a business — it’s a reflection of my drive, resilience, and commitment to excellence.

I’ve still got a dream to fulfil next year as we venture to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. So as a valued customer you will not only be getting a great service but you’re also be joining me on that journey. — both on the mats and on the road.
